Operation Tuna

Was out with Di, Xiaofen and CH earlier for dinner at Fish & Co... wah liew.. typical lehz of Diana... always tinking of eating "ba wang can" (free meal)... nvr draw money then in the end.. not enuff to pay up .. so how? CH and me gotta wait for her n fen to go draw moolahs..

As we tracked up to indochine from dhoby ghaut, we engaged in OPERATION TUNA, to see if we can still spot 'Ah Bengs' these days... Tuna is the code word.. So ya.. there aint many ard u know? In fact, I dun remember spotting any? Has the society been so well educated tat such category of pple has been transformed? Perhaps so... b'coz on closer considerations, they have all upgraded to 'salmons'...

Today, u see them don in beach wear.. finding them at the beaches off Sentosa, ECP etc.. they have (at least quite a lot of them) taken on the identity of being hot and sporty... the 'beach' boys.. well.. if u do some observations u see them callin out to each other "Oi! Qiu (ball) ah".. more like beached boys? Lost w/o identity... they go where the currents sweep them to..

Starbucks to end the nite... Sitting there, 4 of us.. all different majors.. New media, economics, geography.. a conversation strucked by Chong went sth like:

C: What do you tink u will say in yr profession?

C: I will say something like... As a geographer, I tink that the population...

B: It will be like .. The Economic Growth is 3%...

Fen: The new media .. (something like tat .. cant really remember)

Di: And mine... *interupted*

*: WELCOME to McDonald's! Upsize your FRIES?

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Anyway... it's good to see a fren cheered up!
