Lash

I pretty much juz got home and showered and yes it is almost 5 am!

Went Lash to chill with Chong, Rayner and Di.. of which Fen joined us at about 11pm.

Been a long long time since I've been out so late and my legs are really aching and as usual Xiaofen cannot find her way back... we had to send her back despite conflicting route interests due to her 'sotong-ness'... and oh at like almost 4 am, we went for car wash.. how exciting!

Realised everyone is blogging abt Zhuge Liang and Liu Bei... so I shall add a little here...

Indeed Zhuge was a brilliant strategist and governor and Liu Bei was fortunate to have the 5 tiger generals. War front intelligence, Zhuge, capabilities to engage in battles, the 5 generals and back home, he had strong administrators and diplomats like Yi Ji, Deng Zhi and later on, Fei Wei and Jiang Wei. But still the kingdom of Shu faced early demise soon after the death of Zhuge Liang and the reason is clear:

There was no strong nor good successor! There were ppl to take over but not ppl of strong leadership calibre. The strength of a country or any organisation for that matter does not lie only in its present capabilities but in its ability to have a strong continuity. The work of a generation does not end in its retirement...

Strong and good continuity is the key simply because NOTHING good can be built overnight! It is a long tedious process of building on... even when God created the world, he took a week! Wad more mere mortals?
