A New Year

Juz had my MC chalet/bbq...

well, it did help bond the guys and tat's a great thing!

Next sem is juz so goin to fly with FOP moving quickly into actions but first I got to finish up my bash stuff first and gosh.. the more I do bash stuff, the more satisfied I am! I think there's juz something about doing bashes tat makes u 'addicted' to it?

Perhaps, it's yr own 'baby'..

Next sem is going to be real challenging with loads of heavy economics modules to clear and MC work plusz FOP...

As I recount events of the recent FOP, Bash really stirs my blood..

Decisions have been made... good or bad, we shall see in time to come!

Meanwhile, I juz leave everything in God's hands as I exit 2005 and make my debut in 2006..

Divorced & Results

I feel as though I am a divorcee...

I feel divorced from what I tot otherwise...

Times have changed...

Juz 6 mths ago, I was in bash2's o-comm... turned up for every single meeting coz I always tot it's compulsory and tat I shld go down despite staying a million miles away..

Now, things are different... i ought to be happy to see ppl turning up... and whenever I hold a meetin, ppl qn why then or there? ppl asked to be excused...

On another note, got back my results.. I did quite ok.. in fact, i improved! yay! (but marginally)

Another yr coming to an end...

B4 I knew it, candle light service and Christmas are over!

Christmas: thru Christ, Million Are Saved! (something Joy told me)

Had a game of pool with Joy n Jonny after dinner tdy... quite kewl and we had table soccer.. din know tat Joy can play such games.. haha!

Responsibilities

Responsibilities... The moment we stepped up, we ought to have decided that we ought not to have any thoughts abt goin for exchange, going for holidays or wadeverz...

It was a 'sianz' decision to make but yes I got to do it...

And b'coz I did it, I begin to see responsibilites and accountabilities in a whole new light. Some pple juz take certain things too lightly, wantin it their way..

Have we fallen from glory and engage in self-indulgence?

It has been years since I last blogged...

Things and events took place at a fast and furious pace...

B4 I knew it, we had our Funis Potluck and wow... we had fondue jointly made by almost all of us... we had Joy blurring ard wanting to melt the chocolate under direct heat in the pot, then there was Yuyan who juz wanted to chop the bananas, Jason standing around and Jonny spilling the FONDUE! ARGH! and me.. spilling juz a little milk... It was a hilarious time...

Watched King Kong.. hmm... any inspirations? Humans seem to be unable to tolerate any creatures greater than themselves.. hence we always seek to tame the wild 'beasts' or so we call them...

Reading more books, and current affairs magazines made me engaged in many life's lessons.. democracy works only because there r many pre-assumptions made abt the system or the pple in it...

Choices choices choices... we all make choices and sometimes we make wrong ones... Choices.. aint they an opinion made via either the heart or the mind or perhaps both if they are both as one... The heart thinks as much as the mind does... perhaps tat's why we have this E.Q. thingy sprouting up everywhere..

Was screening thru a book, "The Heart's Code" and it was providing scientific explanation about the 'thinking' heart. So now, science is discovering that the heart indeed thinks... while all these while the bible has been saying... "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.."

Moving to X'mas!

We are moving next week from the far west (Jurong West) to the East (Expo - Hall 8)..

It was juz like yesterday when we moved from Hollywood to Jurong and now to Expo.. Expo aint our place and we will move again in I donno... 3 or 4 yrs time to a place we call our own as more and more pple are won to Christ..

Check it out! 7 000 seater... 7 000 people worshipping God together... So exciting! But I m so gonna miss all the good food over at Jurong.. the sliced fish noodle, the chicken rice... the wanton mee...

Juz last weekend, the hawkers were so sad at our leaving.. They gave us homemade cookies, lots of fish, char kuay teow out of freewill.. How nice of them..

I tink whereever we go, pple who loves us most must surely be hawkers and taxi drivers... such a huge market to make money!!! Haha!

And Christmas is juz round the corner..


TOP 10 THINGS YOU NEED TO DO THIS CHRISTMAS:-

10. Be good or else Santa ain't gonna climb down ur chimney and pass you your present.

9. Go orchard and take photos with giant christmas tree namely in Taka and Paragon.

8. Shop, Shop, Shop

7. If possible, organise christmas parties at home.. grab all the turkey, log cake and honey-roasted ham...is way better than blowing it off crowding with all the people in orchard who might spray fake snow from a can into your face.

6. i don't know about, but i love listening to christmas songs sung by jazz singers.. so go grab some christmas CDs.

5. If possible, buy a christmas tree and decor it.. great project to do with family.

4. Buy santa hats... it totally goes with any of your outfit.

3. Go to salvation army to bless some kids this year with soft toys or clothes. They will feel warm again because of you.

2. Visit Singapore Expo Hall 8 on the 24th-25th Dec.

1. Celebrate!! Is the birthday of the Savior of the world. Lets rejoice and be glad!! Woohoo...

Guess wad? I went Science Center yesterdae with fen, di and CH... quite a bit of improvement there I muz say.. and Oh.. pop by Anders's birthday party and I muz say Ikea's meatballs rock!

The end of the exams spell the beginning of me having to weigh things and sort things out.. time is running short..
