Praising God!
Delicated to those esp 2 of whom I know who are undergoing feelings of sadness, defeat, depressions...
"These days I have spoken to you, that in me You may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." Jn 16 : 33
God works in a way that sometimes when we pray, manifested answers come not immediately. Instead we might first face tribulations, trials or even we might feel as though God has denied our requests.
Yupz, God sometimes delay it. Other times, we might be placed in situations where they are contradicting and we might have contradicting people placed in our lives.
"through whom alo we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produce perseverance; and perseverance, character and character, hope." Rom 5 : 2-4
"Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance , so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise;" Heb 10 : 35-36
In many verses in Psalms talk about not losing your faith language and the language of Faith is Praise. Ps 150:6 "Let everything that has breadth praise the Lord! Praise the Lord"
Sometimes u wunder...how to praise God when u r in bad situations.. Praise him for the wisdom endowed upon u to resolve crisis etc.
"Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing" Ps 107:22
"Having received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks. But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them: Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loose" Acts 16:24-26
SO wad to do when u r in the prison of life? Praise God for only thru that will things begin to happen.
Alrite...old testaments..let's look at Jonah:
"Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights" Jonah 1:17
Jonah met with the plight with the fish.
In Jonah 2:3-6, he was praying 'religiously' to God, in some sense whining to God but look on to v. 9 in Jonah 2,
"But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving..."
When he praised God did the fish spat him out on dry land(v.10)
"Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct alright, I will show the salvation of God" Ps 50:23
Your conduct muz be ALRIGHT! Praise not whine!
2 Chro 20:17-22
"You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you...and when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of... and they were defeated"
