Aus Again!

Think I am a little too late to wish Ah Li Bon Vovage for her dive trip to Si-mi-lan! Oh well, she might juz read this if she is leaving in the evening or night! Jonny : If ya reading this...enjoy Japan and remember the swimming trunks!

Heard abt the Plight of JOy with her sore throat n stuff... Like wad I've said tons of times, haff got no idea wad she puts in her mouth! =) And yea, how's policeboi? XinXin, not heard from you for a while too...

Alright, I got back from my Dive trip yesterdae. Quite a kewl experience! Totally different from diving at Tioman or P.Aur or P.Dayang etc etc etc... Let's compare the differences. Alright, nearer to home, the equipment is somewad different stds. Food wise, I will tink over in Aus better when I did the dives (by the way, the dives r 'live-on-board' ; tat means we stay on boat for 3 days 2 nites). However, back on land, I still miss my Singapore's food : Cheap and Nice and Good! Over here, food's so expensive - easily some $10 or more per meal WITHOUT drinks! And even the KFC here taste somewad different from tat of Singapore. The cream they use on the Zinger is like so... ... u know... The only 'consistent' food and salvation to cheap food is our beloved McDonald's...yea taste pretty close to those in Singapore! So tat is GREAT!

Ok! Back to the dive: I saw a couple of sharks! Not full grown ones but ya sharks! They are the black-tips and the white-tips! Luckily, I din encounter any silver-tips or else... yea couple of sea turtle too. At one of the sites named Flynn Reef, there's a resident turtle. Cool ehz? Sharks are rare sightings in M'sia waters. However, in M'sia waters, I get to see lots more of chrismas trees of many colors, stonefishes, lionfish etc etc. But I tell u, the reefs here look majestic under water! Unfortunately, there was a tragic incident on the first day of the dive! Once we anchored at one the reefs, we went for our first dive with the divemasters and the specialist for our 'check-out' dive...pretty cool! However, say abt 15 - 30 minutes after we ascended back on the ship, one of the divers had a seizure and people were rushing everywhere to try to help! In the end, the paramedics came via helicopter. Sadly, they could not sustained him and ya, he passed on! His wife was in great distress and so we had to send her back to the mainland via another boat! This was such a sad and tragic incident. I was one of the few standing near him helping with the little things. My heart cried as I saw him withered away. I kept praying in tongues to the best I know how... But I could tell that the people did their best they know how n here I pray that God grant his wife the strength n courage to face this tragedy. May the peace and wisdom of God be with her! Amen!

Anyway, I will be leaving Cairns on a 9am (Aus time) flight tomolo to go Brisbane. Be spending say about another week plus or so there...Gold Coast, Movie World etc...

And oh, I juz learnt tat results going to be released on 26th Dec 2004! Wad a nice X'mas gift from NUS! Anyway, I wun be in town till 27th or 28th so...

To those reading this, enjoy yr hols people! And Jennifer, you got to go learn diving! It's realli kewl! EMpress muz be less u know... pr*mis*iou*! =)
