Finally, I am able to catch up with my Micro lectures and apprehend a bit!

Anyway, since I was like younger, I'd always been intrigued by questions on probability...and while waiting for my frens to arrive earlier, I was reminded of a plight my fren was in sometime back and so I tot of this question...

Supposed that there is a Hep B blood test available somewhere (Ok! It is available...) and this is a 90% accuracy test (i.e. if someone is Hep B +ve, then 90% of time he gets tested will reflect a +ve result). Now assuming that 10% of the population tested is Hep B +ve. Selecting somone at random for the test and the results show that he is Hep B +ve, can you then say that he is indeed a Hep B carrier? What are the chances of him having Hep B?

So interesting... give it a try man...

Tdy, after cell grp, I was walking home when I received an sms "U r going for arts bash! How dare you! Not going to talk to you ever!" My instant feeling was like wad trash... I was like so not going for the bash... so I finally replied feelin a little 'cheesed' "I said I am not going and that's that!" Pple these days... =(

Met a grouchy Ivan for dinner at Thai Express (I went his place to pick him up first) and of coz, with my presence and appearance he naturally brightened up...so had dinner and he pang sehed me to go meet a sec sch fren (Vincent who is a Naval Diver... Joy muz be drooling now)...

So I went my way to meet some familiar faces...

Anyway as I was sayin, I saw the acronym thingy on a fren's blog and I saw a post...

" Yesterday, while studying at YIH with the team...Xiang Yi walked over to me one hour b4 training started and handed me a banana.

And that I totally agree....

That brought me into rememberance of those days where the guys worked so hard together for that few minutes of glory..the team spirit behind it all, beyond juz achieving results... 台上一分钟，台下十年功！

I got a CA|| from... OOooo No!!!

Yesterdae or rather the day before (since it is like way past midnite)... I received something totally disgusting... unwelcummed... unforgivable... unnice... uninteresting...

YES! A letter from the Ministry tat Protects... Guys...u shld get it! An invitation letter for an old soldiers like me: reservist... arghz! Cant they juz leave an old man with shattering bones like me alone...? =( Worse... the invitation stated end Nov period...early Dec... tat's like my next sem's exam period... Oh well... no choice... in the words of LH: Bo Bian...the enemies juz got to wait till my exams r over...

OoOoo... went makaning at Marche the other day... hmmm... was it like Tuesday or Wed? (cant recall...told ya I'm old) and dear nice lovely Billy produced smething totally took our breath away driving us wild in bewildement but with great pleasure... the rushing adrenaline...

YAY! He held out $60 worth of Marche vouchers and tat's awesome... We had pizza, pasta, mushroom soup each, pork's knuckes, rosti, crepe (french), drinks, stir fried vegetables in oyster sauce and in cash...we paid like $4 each? Great deal... of cuz! For more info. look for Billy!

Tdy..earlier on.. I'd dinner with my Toy and a wunnerful fren by the name of 鼎 (Ding)! TOy declared herself a bankrupt (like I am surprised since it is like NUSSU's PRU Bash)... so we settled into the court of Food - Scots FoodCOurt... Packed of cuz... so we stood ard and STARE n GLARE at pple who are still keeping the seats warm though they like so finished their food eon years back...

So met Xin latr on for a while and GOSH... she looks pretty (simple dressing) though the skirt skitted a bit way to up..and Oooo my Toy was like so totally 'pasta'.. but oh well...both look dashing 2nite... (dashing... is that the right adj.?)

Forsook us (鼎 n me) to go 中国黑.. those girls...

Borders we went... bumped into Nard and my sec sch Jnr... so small world... caught up a bit as per norm... bleah... and it was home to watch my Romance of 3 Kingdoms...

Sundae morning... yet another day for church service..excellent message by Pastor! Tons of things suddenly dawn upon me...

After svc, I'd a quickie (lunch la!) and met up Aunty Ivan and an ex ex ex old time member Deora! So Ivan gave Deo a lift back home and we headed town .. 'wad for' you might ask? Shoppin la.. wad else? Ha! SO shop shop here shop shop there and Bobby bought ..

Once again...NOTHING.. ok la...got some encouragement thingy... got 1 for my cell member.. 1 for Ivan... and 2 others... quite nice and pretty little things actually..

Bumped in 2 sec sch fren and gosh... one of them is like hitched... why oh why 我还吊儿郎当? Haha! Oh well... perhaps someone is ...

Ok Next! Went to meet my cell grp members and we roamed at Bugis...

And we ended at the Red Light District for some realli Red HOT sambal fried food... like suqids, kang-kong amongst the many...

Walk a little down to lorong 11 area... and the guys had durian (not me! I'm sick remember?) And GOSH! $48 for 2 bloody 'XO-D24' durians... I cant even smell the XO... so duhzzzzzz

So here I am...juz gotten home..gonna plan my tutorials... lallalalala!

I heard it straight frm my fren...

She was on vow to stay single till like end 2004 and single she stayed to honor the vow...

In the midst of it all, she liked this guy and guy likes her but guy on vow too till end 2004 too! Perfect timings... can be together after the vow rite? (or so pple says)

NOw, J comes along and falls in love with her and she opened her heart too... now she likes 2 guys? How how how?

She told me abt it and my initial advice : Oh well, why dun u juz get attached to one of them and tat's it! So tat the other wun have to wait or be misled in any ways...

She said "I m too confused to choose..."

On pondering a while, I came up with an excellent proposal - a proof of my wisdom and understanding of the matters of the heart and of love ( a love guru I potentially am)! I called the proposal the 3.6 （三六计）proposal!

SO wad's the deal? Alright, why dun u guys (all 3) dun tok to each other for 3 months. NO sms-es, no phone conversations. Basically no forms of communications, so that all feelings, emotions, obligations blah blah blah can settle. Then 6 mths dun get attached... After 6 mths, there will be a few results :

1. Both are gone! That means since they cant wait... let them go lo.. not meant for u!

2. Both are there! Good! AT least u dun have unsettled feelings then so you can have a choice!

3. One is left! Lagi betta...he's the one!

Sounds brilliant? Of coz it is!


To sidetrack... LH get well soon... u sounded terrible on the pone...

Woke up tdy feeling so tired... tat feverish feelin! Moans... whine whine whine

Went town to meet Ivan n Kenneth for some shoppin n dinner. Yesssss one's a shopping guru and the other's a fashion guru!

Had a msg frm Yi while having dinner at DING TAI FENG (paragon) - nothing fantastic (the noodles taste so DAN tat I'd to keep adding pepper). So by the time I gotten to him, he oredi left for home...

Shop SHOP SHOP! I then realised the nature in the both of them. Both r AUNTIES! Gosh, shld have seen them digging the clothes on sales at Levis! And Aunty Ken (AK) was like hidding in the changing room of Levis for ages b4 emerging and made his purchases! A true blue aunty...refusing to take the escalators .. muz take lift..hahaha

Then Aunty Ivan (AI), buy this la tat la...

I quote Ivan "See... even the shops we go into are so different now..."

And I muz agree... G*STar, Miss Sixty, AX, Diesel (onli Levis and bloodbro's more reasonable)

A Twist!

I came across this story which I found so interesting and amusing so I decided to give it a little chance to be up here on this MY blog... heh..

(Oh! My pastor had juz given birth to a baby boy! YAY!)

THE STORY

Four friends reunited at a party after 30 years. After a few laughs and drinks, one of them had to go to the rest room. The ones who stayed behind began to talk about their kids and their successes.

The first guy says: I am very proud of my son, he is my pride and joy.

He started working at a very successful company at the bottom of the barrel. He studied Economics and Business Administration soon he was promoted and began to climb the corporate ladder becoming the General Manager and now he is the president of the company. He became so rich that he gave his best friend a top of the line Mercedes Benz for his birthday.

The second guy says: Damn, that's terrific!!! My son is also my pride and joy!

I am very proud of him. He started working at a traveling agency for a very big airline. He went to flight school to become a pilot and also manage to become a partner in the company where he now owns the majority of the assets. He became so rich that he gave his best friend a brand new jet for his birthday.

The third guy says: Well, well, well congratulations!! My son is also my pride and joy and he is also very rich.

He studied in the best universities and became an Engineer. He started his own construction company and became very successful and a multimillionaire. He also gave away some thing very nice and expensive to his best friend for his birthday. He built a 30,000 sq ft mansion specially for his friend.

The three friends congratulated each other mutually for the successes of theirs sons. The fourth friend who earlier had gone to restroom returned and asked: What' s going on, what are all
the congratulations for?

One of the three said: We were talking about the pride we feel for the successes of our sons.

And then he asked, What about your son?

The forth man replied: My son is Gay and he makes a living dancing as a stripper at a nightclub.
The three friends said: What a shame that must be, that is horrible, what a disappointment you must feel.

The forth man replied: No, I am not ashamed. Not at all. He is my son and I love him just as well, he is my pride and joy.

And he is very lucky too. Did you know that his birthday just passed and the other day he received a beautiful 30,000 sq ft mansion, a brand new jet and a top of the line Mercedes Benz from his three boyfriends.

Woke up at 11 am to do my bidding! Horrified to see the min bid at 400+ points! Sianz!

ANyhow, I got my module (it is a General Elective Module aka GEM by the way) at a HIGH price! 716 points! Bloody high... hopefully it is worth it!

I left home ard 1 i tink to meet Ding for lunch. SO wad did we haff? Laksa all the way from Katong! Gosh, it was good but I was not very filled; I m nvr filled anyway...so who cares?

Went jalan jalan with ah Ding... wad else can we be doin? I bidded him farewell after our last meal together... ... ... ... ...

... ... ... ... ... for the day!

So went down town thereafter to haff dinner with my JC frenz, Fang, Sheng, Lok and Gina! Not bad at all... i mean the dinner! Oh well... the fellowship was awesome! So I was then coerced into going KTV at Partyworld juz beside Hello shop in town! And tat costed my like S$13.20!!!

Pity Gina aint into tat, so she left early but she being the Queen of Hagen Daz managed to get free HUGE scope of Ice-cream in cone from Hagen Daz for FREE! SO sheng, Gina and moi had free icecream! Serve the other 2 rite for coming along later... hahahah!

SO here I am again, sitting in front of my lappy typing this...tinking wad to do tomolo... sianz!

Upon reading n re-reading her online documentation of her account, I realised I gave a wrong idea to her tat I tink she is in need. SO to set things straight, here I am!

It was miscomm largely coz I was simply too lazy to tink of correct phrases to use and so hastily I replied "I donno"...

Happiness, Love and Life. Tons of people seem to be bogged down by these words especially in recent days with catastrophe and stuff.

I've got frens tell me they having cold wars with BFs/GFs... and I got pple telling me tat they feel God's love no more. And there are those who seem to come to an end with their frenship with frens...

Just to borrow something from my fren's (Jack) blog:

A Brand New Year!

This is my first blog of the year!

Modules, CORS, bidding...these things are giving me headaches.. Wad shld I take? Wad shld I major in? I've no ideas at all! I wanna do Econs but econs was like my 2nd worst module in sem 1? How? Hmmm... Oh well... dun care! Take something I like...tat's wad pple say.. but but but...

The hols came and gone juz like tat! So quickly school is starting... In the words of Xin, 'mug guru'! I resolved this sem not to hang out too much at the library! Go out more! Then again as I grow older, I seem to detest going town on wkends - so darn crowded!

Clubbing... went clubbing on NY's eve (count down)! Well, it was not tat great but oh well aint tat lousy either. Darn crowded and EXPENSIVE! So I called my brader to wish her Happi NY but she was having a great time of 'Raba Raba' with u-know-who!
